Sally Newton was born in Hertfordshire but has lived and studied all over Britain. Sally’s degrees were in archaeology and most of her writing is inspired by history.
Not averse to a bit of experimental archaeology Sally managed to accidentally poison herself during research for ‘The Defiant Prince’. No harm done!
Book 1 in the Caradoc Trilogy – The Defiant Prince was previously released as ‘The Mouthy Prince’ (with a different publisher) but was revised for the new Pendown edition.
