Ann Foweraker

Step into an Ann Foweraker novel and you step into a very recognisable world, with people you know. When something extraordinary happens, as it always does, you are swept up in the events and carried along with your new friends, desperate to know how it will all end.

Ann Foweraker writes novels that resonate with readers of the boomer generation – being one herself – and setting her main characters at a similar age over the years.

Ann has always written, from stories for friends and poetry as a teenager, through books for her children and short stories to the novels she concentrates on now.

Always a teacher, by nature and training, Ann is available to do talks about writing and her novels to book-groups and other organisations. BIOGRAPHY:
Ann was born in Berkshire and attended Shoreditch teacher training college in Surrey, where she met and, later, married a Cornishman. They lived first in Plymouth and then, after their first son was born, moved to Cornwall. Though Ann has written both stories and poetry from her teens, the novel writing began after her fourth son was born. Ann taught in Cornwall and Plymouth up until 2007 and since then has been running her own business and concentrating on her writing.
